| I am a member of a group that is made up of a volunteer from each state, well some states have a "Press Release Person" and mine for the state of Georgia is Melissa Finnerty. Each state representatives are in charge of writing to their state Governor asking for a Proclamation to be signed to get October 15th of each year recognized as Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day. This past year (2001) was the 1st year for this group and I think we did really good. Only 3 states didn't sign! If you would like to see the state of Georgia's certificate click here.
