Deserving voices
Confident newcomer Marc Broussard, a New Orleans-based singer/songwriter with a big regional following, pops up in the opening, 8:30 slot tonight on the Trocadero bill. Broussard's well-honed tunes and soul-tinged vocals hold obvious appeal to fans of Jack Johnson, Ben Harper and John Mayer.
