Lafayette Artist on the Brink of a Break
Marc Broussard, whose performances during the recent Cutting Edge conference literally drew standing ovations, will be releasing his first CD on Friday, September 7 at Grant Street Dancehall in Lafayette. However, his future in the music industry may already be set for major labels are already paying close attention to the soulful singer/songwriter. Currently being shopped by Leah Simon of ARMS Division, recent trips to both New York City and Los Angeles are producing results, several labels have expressed interest. Leah is a Lafayette native and owns businesses in Louisiana. ARMS Division (Alternative Radio Marketing Services) is an artist development company that most recently has been working with hot artist John Mayer. Marc Broussard's powerful voice and rich songs are proving to be an easy sell for Leah. We're very excited about Marc and happy that we've played a small role in his career. There's no doubt we'll be reporting more about Marc Broussard in the future.
