Powers: Titan is a mutant with the superhuman ability to convert the tissue of his entire body into an organic steel-like substance, granting him superhuman strength and a high degree of resistance to bodily harm. This substance, resembling organic steel, is of unknown composition but appears to be analogous to osmium and to carbon steel. He is able to transform into this armor-like state at will and remain in that form for an as yet undetermined amount of time. Once in his armored form he remains so until he consciously wills himself back to normal. If he is rendered unconscious, however, he spontaneously reverts to his normal form. While in his armored state, Titan possesses the same degree of mobility that he does in his normal form.

History: Matthew C. Rogers was born in Los Angeles, CA. When his mutant powers emerged during adolescence, Rogers family shunned him, sending him out on the streets. His family even contacted the government trying to see if there was a "cure" as they put it, his "sickness." It's when he fled from the authorities that he first used his powers in self defense. He began working for construction companies, hiding his mutant powers. However, because of an accident he had to reveal himself to save four men working on the same site he was. Needless to say he was forced to flee again... this time though Matthew met a man who claimed to help him come to terms with who he was and what his special gift was meant for. The man's name was Charles Xavier. Since then, Matthew has taken the name Titan, and has honed, trained himself since then so he would never half to flee again.
