The Dream had come to an end.
The ever-lasting war between good and evil was over, as the wicked rose above the ashes of the dead. If was dark and cold and death reeked around every corner, the smell of innocent souls who risked their lives for the betterment of all living creatures.
All were gone.
All... except two.
When all the world was asleep they crept out of their sanctuary in the shadows, these two surviving warriors. To the ruins of the X-Men's mansion they went, in search for any remnants of Xavier's dream.
Three moons later they found it!
From the depths of destruction they found it!
An Iron Book called "MISSION-X."
The answer to all their questions!
In vain, however, they tried to open it, until, upon close examination, they found that the key to the answers lay in the human prints of twelve individuals. The two warriors gazed at each other as they came to a realization.
The hunt had just begun....
