Uriah was one of the gargoyle eggs brought to Avalon. He grew up with Angela and the rest of his clan, after learning what had happened back at the castle, when Goliath's clan was betrayed. He then went on a rampage, trying to kill Tom, the Magus, and Princess Katherine, but was stopped by the clan, and was thrown out of Avalon for the attempted murder.
He then started to search for his parents, he searched all over Europe, parts of Russia and in Ireland, but found none. He then heard of sightings of gargoyles in New York, so he traveled there, and he met Demona. She told him her side of what had happened on the night of betrayal, so that fuelled his small flame of hatred of the human race, and turned it into a raging forest fire.
He spent about one year with her, and in that one year, he learned about the modern weapons of today, and some fighting skills. He then left her to continue his search for more gargoyles, and found the clan of Goliath, he chose his night and what to say, but when he entered and saw Elisa standing there with the other clan, he just snapped.
He jumped at her, trying to slash her throat, the stunned Goliath acted on impulse and blocked Uriah. Goliath then tried to restrain Uraih, and was successful to a point, but in turn was marked by one of Uriah's claws. The clan then precessed to question Uraih about who he is, how he found them, how he survived. He told them about Avalon and what had happened through out his life, and why he jumped Elisa, then he asked Goliath about his past, what had happened all that time ago, an why he wasn't trying to destroy the humans, like they had done to his clan.
Goliath told him, and Uriah's attitude changed towards humans alittle, but he still carries the ever present hatred of humans inside. He left Goliath and his clan, after about the three years, to continue the search of his. And in his own right, he's not sure if he should aid his former mentor, Demona, or Goliath's example and help protect them from themselves.
