Within Me
Within me there’s a mother
Longing to love & nurture
Within me there’s the voice of seduction
Singing for attention
Within me lies the eyes of curiousity
Watching to know you more
Within me burns the candle of love
Flickering & dancing playfully
Within me awaits shattered dreams
Trying to mend into one piece
Within me the worries of the world
Hiding as they await answers
& within me lies you
In my heart, & in my mind
Keeping you safe, & protecting you
Allowing me to let out all that lies within me
