POWER-UPS
BEAMS
 | This is your starting beam. You begin each level with this beam equipped. Once you get more beams, you can switch back to this one with the Z key. | |
 | This is the beam you get from beating the Power Trooper. This beam is slower than the power beam, but is twice as strong. Once you have it, you can switch to this beam with the X key. | |
 | This is the beam you get from beating the Papa Zoomer. This beam is the slowest of all of them, but it can freeze enemies solid. Once you have it, you can switch to this beam with the C key. | |
 | This is the beam you get from beating Omega Pirate. This beam is incredibly fast and incredibly strong. Once you have it, you can switch to this beam with the V key. | |
 | This is the beam you get from beating Super Ridley. This beam is very, VERY strong. Once you have it, you can switch to this beam with the B key. | |
 | This is the beam you get from beating the Blade Boss. This is the single strongest beam in the game. Once you have it, you can switch to this beam with the N key. |
SHIPS
 | You begin the game and each level is this ship. Once you get more ships, you can switch back to this one with the A key. |
 | This is the ship you get from beating Wave Rocket. It has better defence than the first ship, letting you take twice as many hits. Once you have it, you can switch to this ship with the S key. |
 | This is the ship you get from getting a score of 2000 in the Endless Enemies level. This ship is the fastest of all of them, but it can't take as many hits as the second ship. Once you have it, you can switch to this ship with the D key. |
MISCELLANEOUS
| This powerup lets you move your ship up and down, not just side to side. It allows you to avoid more shots. Obtained after beating Level 1 without taking damage. | |
| This powerup increases your rapid fire capability. It also makes your shots move faster. Obtained after getting a score of 1000 in Endless Enemies. | |
| This powerup lets makes your ship move faster. It makes it much easier to dodge enemy fire. Obtained after beating Level 3 without taking damage. | |
HP X 4 | These two powerups increase your life bar. These allow you to take much more damage than before. Obtained after beating Level 2 and Level 5 without taking damage. |
| This powerup slowly refills your life bar. Note that it is disabled in the Endless Enemies level. Obtained after getting a score of 4000 in Endless Enemies. | |
| The Enhanced Power Beam comes in a close second to the Blade Beam for best weapon. It makes it so your Power Beam is 3 times stronger than normal, and it shoots constantly. Obtained after beating the final Boss Arena in hard mode. | |
| This powerup doubles your defence, letting you take more hits before exploding. Obtained after beating Level 4 without taking damage. | |
| This powerup makes your shots twice as strong. Obtained after beating Ridley. | |
| This powerup is the best powerup there is. It gives you twice the attack power as normal, shooting out of both sides of your ship. Obtained after getting a score of 10,000 in Endless Enemies. | |
| There are 5 of these tanks in the game, and each of them can refill your life once per level. To use one, hit the F key. Obtained after beating each level on Hard Mode. |
