Gentle sighs mingle with the purple haze of twilight. Soft ribbons of colour creep through the window and make their way silently across the floor. Beyond this room the world no longer interests me, it is enough that you are here.
Laying in our lovers sigh, these moments transcend both space and time. Ironic, isnt it? For time is limitless in your eyes, and each year is but a heartbeat for you, my immortal beloved.
I watch you sleep, a guilty pleasure I steal when I can. Oh, my love, death was never intended for a man as beautiful as you!
Your hair, as dark as the black satin pillow it rests on, feathers softly against your skin. I have never known a man with such a noble profile; a strong jaw, soft, sensual mouth and that nose that wonderful nose!
Sleep has you cradled in its arms. Your eye lashes flutter gently, like butterflies caught in a warm, summer breeze do you dream of me?
A rich, sweet smell clings to the air. It is the scent of your skin, warmed by our passion. I want to crawl inside you, wrap myself around your soul, breathe your every breath! There is no hope, no salvation ~ I lost myself the moment that you smiled my way. That glorious smile, that lights up your eyes and brings me to my knees, surrendering my heart, my body and my soul.
You stir, enfolding me in your arms, placing ageless kisses on my brow. A tear rolls down my cheek and I believe that I am drowning in your caress. You kiss my face, your lips moist with the tears of my love and whisper words of love so sincere this moment is worth an eternity!
Surrendering to your touch, I ache to tell you how much I love you and as you fill my body with your soul, I sigh :
Will you love me this way forever?
and your voice, as timeless as the wind, whispers softly against my
cheek :
The alternative would be unthinkable.
