Merriam Hills Neighborhood Group
Merriam, Kansas
NEWS FLYER

An old-fashioned through-the-neighborhood caroling event will be held to bring the holiday spirit to residents. A Brownie troop will be a special part of this event. Come join us that evening to sing carols and share a great time with neighbors. Singing ability not required...just have fun !

Please gather at Hickory Hills Park (on 54th St. east of Antioch) no later than 6 p.m. to join us.

As it will be dark, please bring your own lantern or flashlight. We will end with some warm refreshments at a neighbor’s home. This promises to be a wonderful social time for all.

If you are unable to carol with us, please greet the carolers at your door and let them know you appreciate their holiday spirit. Mark your calendar and watch for yardsigns in the neighborhood as a reminder.

At the September 29th council meeting, the City Council voted to approve the adoption of the Merriam Hills Neighborhood Plan into the comprehensive plan of the city. This marks the final step for development phase of our plan. The next phase is implementation of the various specifics. Thanks to the Steering Committee and all the residents who have been involved in this lengthy but important project to improve Merriam Hills for everyone.

In order to continue bringing you neighborhood news; to fund special events and to hold our general meetings, etc. we need your help. At this point, we do not receive funds other than the support of residents. We have not established dues for our group.

Please send your donation (along with) your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address
