So you want to get to know me. Very well but don't say you weren't warned. My name is Melissa but most people call me Mel or Melgo. I'm a Net junkie. I love to chat with people and make friends. I've been at this for nearly 10 years.
I don't like all sports but some impress me. In the NBA, my Spurs are and will always be champions in my eyes. I've also been a wrestling fan since the days of the Von Erich's. I grew up among four male cousins. One of my earliest memories was sitting in a hot high school gym with my uncle and cousins watching wrestling. I even wanted to become a wrestler for awhile there. Needless to say, I'm a bit of a tomboy, but not much. Bugs still scare the hell out of me and dresses and high heels are an option.
Anyway, I moved away from wrestling in junior high and focused on movies. I consider myself a movie researcher/buff. Just hop over to my films section to see how crazy it's become. I have a degree in video and film production from UIW in San Antonio. Maybe someday it will come in handy :) For now, I'm content to be an audience member. Here's hoping that one day I'll be the director accepting the Oscar or Golden Globe. I'd like to thank all the little people I stepped on to get here. <hehe>
If you've stopped by my music page, you know that I have very eclectic tastes. Oooo! I used a 50¢ word. But growing up in Central Texas, you have no choice but to like Country and Tejano. Luckily, I also picked some other favorites. I hope you like them.
