| Not much is known about this artist from Siena, in fact very few of his works survive. He painted the "Life of Christ" series of frescos on the walls of the Collegiata at S. Gimignano. He has a dramatic and bold style that was unusual for Sienese painters of his time. He is said to have been killed in a fall while paintin on a high scaffolding. | |||||||||||||||||
