| Arnolfo di Cambio was born c. 1245 in Italy. In his life he became an accomplished architect and sculptor. He designed the cathedral of S. Maria del Fiore and the church of S. Croce in Florence. He also carved the much of the sculptural decoration in both churches. He died in 1310 in Firenze. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
