| This tempera painting is part of a work known as the Linaioli Tabernacle. It was made for the Arte dei Linaioli (Guild of Flaxmakers) in 1433. This portion of the tebernacle is 39 x 56 cm and shows the Virgin Mary and Jesus in the lower right hand corner, with the three kings (magi) coming to kneel before Jesus. It is currently located in the Museo di San Marco in Florence. | |||||||||||||||
