Anne (September 29, 1998)

Buffy's been MIA since Becoming part 2. She's living on her own in a different town using her middle name. I'm guessing that something happens that will make her leave town and go back to Sunnydale. The rest of the Scoobies have been doing all of her patrolling. Hopefully she'll be back before someone gets killed.

Dead Man's Party (October 6, 1998)
Hey, Buffy finally came back home. But the way everyone is treating her causes her to think she should just run away again. Oh, and dead people are living again and are headed for Buffy's welcome home party.

Faith, Hope and Trick (October 13, 1998)
Faith=the new Slayer in town. Hope=As in Scott Hope, a poor sap who doesn't know that the last guy Buffy liked is currently in hell. Mr. Trick: A new vamp in town who can't wait to kill the slayer. And Sunnydale's mayor is not what he seems.

Beauty and the Beasts (October 20, 1998)
When mutilated bodies turn up, Oz the sometimes werewolf and the recently returned from hell Angel are the prime suspects.

Homecoming (November 3, 1998)
It's Slayerfest '98! Mr. Trick gets a group of jabronies to kill Faith and Buffy. Buffy and Cordelia compete for Homecoming Queen. And Giles is knocked out. Giles gets knocked a lot so it's no big deal to the rest of the group.

Band Candy (November 10, 1998)
Imagine if a special candy made your parents act like teenagers again. The most frightening concept in human history becomes reality in this story.

Revelations (November 17, 1998)
Giles gets knocked out again. Maybe I should go back to the S1 and S2 and put a * next to every ep that he gets knocked out in. Hmmm.. Anyway, Faith has a new Watcher, everyone else finds out that Angel is back (Faith is the last to find out and isn't very pleased with being kept in the dark) and Xander and Willow have the hots for each other. And a demon is coming to town to find some sort of glove which he'll no doubt use for evil purposes.

Lover's Walk (November 24, 1998)
Spike is back. He's been dumped by Dru and is out to kill the Scoobies and Angel. Willow and Xander can't keep their hands off each other and Buffy is probably doing something important. I guess.

The Wish (December 8, 1998)
Cordelia somehow blames Buffy's arrival in Sunnydale as the cause of her and Xander's break up. So wishes that Buffy never came to Sunnydale. A vengeance demon named Anya makes her Wish and we find out that a Buffyless Sunnydale isn't a fun place to be. Unless you're a vampire...

Amends (December 15, 1998)
Angel's soul/conscience is causing a horrible guilt trip over Angelus' past deeds. Xander and Cordy are over, but Willow is still trying to make thing better between her and Oz.

Gingerbread (January 12, 1999)
While under the spell of two (notreally)children, the Moms of Sunnydale form MOO, Moms Opposed to the Occult. Due to an inside joke created the previous Saturday (1/9/99) concerning the word moo, I pretty much laughed through the whole episode. Coincidences like that are pretty cool. The MOOs starting a witch hunt isn't cool at all for Willow, Amy and Buffy. I guess Buffy's a witch by association or something.

Helpless (January 19, 1999)
Buffy's been exposed to some Kryptonite and loses her powers. Sucks to be a vampire slayer with the strength of somewhat frail 18 year old girl.

The Zeppo (January 26, 1999)
Another one of my top ten favorite episodes. Xander is the most useless Scooby and is told to stay away when the Scoobies try to stop the opening of the hellmouth. So he alone must stop some undead classmates from blowing up the high school.

Bad Girls (February 9, 1999)
Faith starts having a bad influence on Buffy and both girls get into a load of trouble when a normal human gets into the line of fire. Meanwhile, Giles gets to meet Buffy and Faith's new watcher.

Consequences (February 16, 1999)
Buffy's feeling guilty and Faith doesn't care. Wesley the Watcher is getting on everyone's nerves. And that's pretty much all there is to this episode.

Doppelgangland (February 23, 1999)
After losing her powers in "the Wish," Anya seeks Willow help in going to the Buffyless Sunnydale to retrieve a necklace which will get back her powers. Instead, they let BizzaroWillow into out reality. Hijinks ensue.

Enemies (March 16, 1999)
Faith's aligned with the very evil Mayor and both are out to desoul Angel. Well, Faith is. The mayor doesn't swing that way.

Earshot (September 14, 1999)
Due to a demon bleeding on her, Buffy's got the power to read minds. A power she has no control over. A power which allows her to here someone's plan to kill everyone in Sunnydale high.

Choices (May 4, 1999)
The Scoobies think about their post high school life and decide to take the fight to the Mayor. The Mayor thinks about "accession" and a crucial box that he needs for it.

The Prom (May 11, 1999)
Xander's taking a demon, Willow the witch is with Oz the werewolf, Buffy (the slayer) wants to go with Angel (the vampire) and Wesley (the adult) wants Cordelia (who's barely legal) and vice versa. Giles chaperones this madness.

Graduation Day (Part 1) (May 18, 1999)
Angel's on his death bed and is a goner unless he drinks some Slayer blood. Buffy's willing to help, but not with her blood. Suddenly Faith's future doesn't look too bright.

Graduation Day (Part 2) (July 13, 1999)
The Mayor's ready to "ascend" and kill the Class of '99 in the process. But those meddlesome teens have other plans.
