Welcome to the Hellmouth (Part 1) (March 3, 1997)

So begins the story of a girl and her Hellmouth. After burning down the gym at her old high school, Buffy Summers and her Mom move to Sunnydale for a fresh start. Everything's cool until the new school librarian tries to get her to read books on vampires and a student is found dead...with familiar looking bite marks.

The Harvest (Part 2) (March 3, 1997)
The Master has a master plan to free himself. Get his strongest vamp (Luke) to feed on as many people as possible. The Master gets stronger with every person Luke drains. After enough blood has been drained, the Master will be free. Buffy's first few days in Sunnydale are looking more and more like her last days in LA.

The Witch (March 17, 1997)
Tryouts for the cheerleading squad get weird when various cheerleaders develop strange ailments (spontaneous combustion, blindness, etc.). Amy's Mom is obsessed with her high school/cheerleading days and wants to relive that time through her daughter. Think there's a connection? Did I mention Buffy is trying out?

Teacher's Pet (March 25, 1997)
Did you ever wish that the hot teacher you had was actually interested in you? Well, if you're name is Xander Harris, you're wish just came true. And if you're name is Xander Harris, you live on a hellmouth. And if you live on a hellmouth, hot teachers aren't what they seem.

Never Kill a Boy on the First Date (March 31, 1997)
Owen's a normal guy. Buffy's not a normal girl. Going to the Bronze and then to the city morgue is not a normal date. Meanwhile, the Master waits for the Annointed One.

The Pack (April 7, 1997)
On a field trip to the zoo, a group of Sunnydale students (including Xander) are possessed by hyena spirits. When the group of students start acting like animals, Buffy, Giles and Willow investigate. And what happened to Herbert the pig and the school's principal?

Angel (April 14, 1997)
That guy Buffy has the hots for? You know, the one who knows all that insider info on the Master and other vamps in town? Turns out he's one of those blood sucking vampires she's supposed to slay. But he's not like those other vampires...

I, Robot - You Jane (April 28, 1997)
And if you don't think there's some connection between Willow's cyber boyfriend and an evil demon, well you just haven't been paying much attention.

The Puppet Show (May 5, 1997)
Giles, the somewhat reclusive librarian/watcher, is put in charge of the talent show. Buffy, Willow and Xander are put into the show against there will. There's also a killer in the show who takes a vital organ of it's victims. Oh, and Buffy swears that the wood dummy is real and is trying to kill her. It's things like this that make me glad that I didn't attend my high school talent shows.

Nightmares (May 12, 1997)
Try to remember the worst nightmare(s) you ever had. Pretty scary stuff, right? Now imagine you're worst nightmares coming true. And the same thing is happening to everyone else in town. And NO ONE can wake up. Sucks to be in Sunnydale doesn't it.

Out of Mind, Out of Sight (a.k.a. Invisible Girl) (May 19, 1997)
An unpopular girl is so ignored that she disappears. So what does a vengeful and invisible girl do? Well, she takes her rage out on the most popular girl in school: Cordelia.

Prophecy Girl (June 2, 1997)
Pop quiz hotshot: You're destined to die at the hands of an evil vampire, what do you do? A: Let the vampire with a soul handle it. B: Let the Librarian handle it. Or C: Go find the evil vamp's lair and hope he doesn't kill you. If you chose C...
