Here is a brief history of recent updates to my 767 panel
that lead to version 6.4 (March 23, 1998):

v6.3 (February 26, 1998)

My thanks to Mr. Ernie Kennedy for providing me with some
new autopilot annunciators (that I have hacked up to work
here). These are much better than the setup I was using
because I now could make the EADI even more accurate and
add some more indications.

Along with adding the new autopilot annunciators, this file
will update the following (all of what was update 6.2):

1. Add a Tape Radio Altimeter (just like the DC10).
   - This appears on the real plane.

2. Add a Fast/Slow gauge.
   - On US carriers, this is now very close to the way
the ADI really looks. Some international carriers
     have different options.
   - In update 6.2 I made the gauge look more like the
     real thing.

3. Updated the engine gauges to use only 1 gauge. This
should improve frame rates a little.
   - In update 6.2 the guages are now original size.

4. Fixed a few of the 800x600 regular screen problems.
   - The engine gauge digits fit better in the boxes.
   - The DME gauge now is fully visible.
   - The Transponder is now fully visible.

5. International Altimeter Option Change.
   - Now the MB will display in the regular altimeter
window as opposed to off in space :-).
   - The ADF option will NOT change here, you will be able
      to select the xxx.x digits.

6. Adds new standby Altimeter and Airspeed.

7. And of course add the new Autopilot annunciators.

V6.0 (January 29, 1998)

This is again a major upgrade from 5 to 6. The following
is a list of improvements:

1. New Autopilot: Now almost 100% accurate for real plane.

2. New Engine instruments: Also now almost 100% accurate
with a few FS98 modifications (for usability).

3. New ADI: Now with autopilot annunciation built in (and
      this includes an A/T annunciator).
   - New attitude background.
   - New GS and LOC gauges.
   - New airspeed tape.

4. Updated ARC HSI: Now has better digits and pointers.
   - Now annunciates type of nav signal (ILS or VOR).
   - New HSI Needle and background.

5. Night time instrument lighting:
   - ALL PRIMARY INSTRUMENTS ARE NOW LIGHTED AT NIGHT!!!

6. New flap gauge and speed brake lever.

7. New COM/NAV panel.

8. New overhead panel:
   - Fuel gauges now on the overhead (similar to real plane).
   - Light switches cleaned up and positioned better.

9. Misc updates: Airspeed mach meter moved from behind
barber pole, new control surface indicators, new
pitch trim gauge, moved ARC/ROSE switch to the AA
placard, and many small graphics improvements.

10. Please note that the oil gauges are fake. I could not
find a "memory friendly" gauge to modify here. Maybe
     if something comes available......

v5.0 (January 12, 1998)

My 767 panel has gotten an Avionics upgrade!!
Major new features of my 767 panel v5.0:

1. New EFIS system: Now with ARC Mode, Rose Mode and
     NavDash support.
2. New Overhead panel with updated light switches and
     start switches.
3. Optimized panel config for better (hopefully)
     performance.
4. Graphics improvements on main panel.
5. New higher visibility radio altimeter that reads up
   to 2,500 feet.

V4.3 (December 31, 1997)

This is the txt file that appeared with v4.2. The only
only changes from 4.2 to 4.3 are the addition of a temp
gauge and some graphics updates for those that might have
an older zip.

V4.2

This is a small update (that turned into a big update) to
my 767 panel. I know I said that 4.1 was final....But I
am obsessed with quality and wanted to correct some small
problems and add 5 features. This is the final update...REALLY!

NEW FEATURES:

    SHIFT-4: VOR2 Toggle.
    SHIFT-5: Partial Panel practice.

1. Added VOR2 support: Just hit Shift-4 anytime and a VOR2
gauge will pop up in the standby altimeter slot. Not
very realistic but nice if you don't like the RMI.
2. Added PARTIAL PANEL option: Would you like to practice
a scenario where it is not your day? Just hit Shift-5
and you lose your EFIS tubes!

3. Alternate ADI provided: The actual airplane does not have
an altitude tape. So I have included an optional ADI
with that tape removed. (the actual plane has a GS
indication there but I have had no success putting that
       gauge there..sorry :(
4. AOA gauge added (optional): By numerous requests, I have
included an optional AOA gauge (very simple). You need
       to install this special.
5. Added a DME and TTG (Time To Go) readout to the top line
of the ADI. You can switch between VOR1 and VOR2 readout.

Corrections:

1. Corrected a flicker in the #2 Oil gauge set.
2. Updated the instrument "spread" to more accurately
       depict the actual plane.
3. As a result of 4, I was able to make the tape RA
       better to read.
4. Moved the digital RA to the top right to better
reflect the actual plane. And to also remove orange
       flicker that sometimes pops up.

Note: The digital RA has a Shareware version. You can
activate additional features by registering with
HGHB Virtual Instruments. Please see HGHB.txt for info.
*** I am not associated with HGHB. This appears as a
       courtesy to their work ***

5. Some very nice graphics improvements given to me by
       Bernd Gadzinski. Thanks!
6. Also some graphics improvements as a result of pictures
sent to me by Najib Saer. Thanks!
7. Adjusted position of numbers in autopilot panel. They
       were off slightly.
8. My thanks to Bryan Fripp for the new ADI colors. He sent
me the new ADI gauge with a nicer ground color.
       Thanks!!!
