   problems...answer may be here.

This panel was designed in 1024x768 and works best in that
mode. Will work in 800x600 full screen and 3D modes.
There are distortions in 800x600 non-full screen mode.

***FLIGHT DIRECTOR TYPE AID***

See FDoption.doc for detailed information.

Christian and myself have been working on the concept of a
Flight Director (FD) system. There are many obstacles so keep
a watch of the website for developments. The FD that we are
shipping here is not a true FD, but we are working on it.

This version is a SELECTABLE ILS indication system. You mouse
click on the FD icon in the autopilot panel to bring up the
command bars. They indicate VOR/ILS and GS positions. They
do not direct at this time. When the GS is not active it
will not appear...but the NAV data will still be there. You
can turn it on and off at any time with a mouse click.

Another version of the FD will be available soon from my
website that indicates Heading and Altitude deviations. This
version is described on my website.

DESCRIPTION:

This version cleans up all the updates floating around into
one big file. I have also added some nice improvements.

New to version 6.4:

1. Christian Kgler has created one of the most unique gauges
yet for FS98. The new EADI is one complete gauge!
   Features:
   - Flight Director type indications for LOC/GS.
   - Accurate ADI pitch bars
   - Separate Localizer and Glideslope indications.
   - Fast/Slow gauge.
   - All autopilot annunciations (in digital form).
   - Radio Altimeter (that actually reads 0 on the ground ;-)

2. I reworked the autopilot completely into just one gauge.
It is also completely lighted at night!! New to the autopilot:
   - Night time lighting.
   - Flight Director mouse click area (to turn on/off pink cross).
   - More accurate looking graphics layout.
   - Updated mouse click areas for more realism. In many cases
you click on the dial rather than the digital window.

3. Some small graphics improvements to make the panel look
   better in all modes.

4. Brand new Standby ADI reprogrammed by Christian Kgler that
includes backup Localizer and Glideslope information (just
like in the real plane). The movement of the pointers are
   also now accurate as well.

And here are the updates from 6.0 through 6.4:

1. Add a Tape Radio Altimeter (just like the DC10).
   - This appears on the real plane.

2. Add a Fast/Slow gauge.
   - On US carriers, this is now very close to the way
the ADI really looks. Some international carriers
     have different options.
   - In update 6.2 I made the gauge look more like the
     real thing.

3. Updated the engine gauges to use only 1 gauge. This
should improve frame rates a little.
   - In update 6.2 the guages are now original size.

4. Fixed a few of the 800x600 regular screen problems.
   - The engine gauge digits fit better in the boxes.
   - The DME gauge now is fully visible.
   - The Transponder is now fully visible.

5. International Altimeter Option Change.
   - Now the MB will display in the regular altimeter
window as opposed to off in space :-).

6. Adds new standby Altimeter and Airspeed.

7. And of course add the new Autopilot annunciators (the
original AP annunciators where suppplied by Ernie Kennedy
and hacked up by me ;-).

PANEL OPERATION:

EFIS System: The glass avionics portion of this panel
is basically the same as v5.0.
A> HSI with ARC Mode (this is the default).
B> HSI Rose mode with mouse select button.
C> New ADI with integrated ILS localizer and GS dots.

TO OPERATE THE NEW EFIS:

    TOGGLE SWITCH SUMMARY:

        ARC MODE: Shift-2
ROSE MODE: Shift-3 or Mouse click
NavDash support: Use Shift-2 and Shift-3 to
                              turn off HSI's.
NOTE: NavDash is a separate addon!!! Not included!

HSI MODES:

ARC---> ROSE Mode: Mouse click on the airplane placard
                       just below the RMI.

                 or Shift-3.

*** NOTE *** To increase frame rate on slower computers,
you should also hit Shift-3 do disable the ARC mode.
Otherwise it will run "behind" the Rose mode.

Rose---> ARC Mode: Again use the mouse click area or
Shift-3 to remove the Rose mode. Also
turn the Arc mode back on with Shift-2
                       if necessary.

NavDash support Mode: This mode is created by turning off
the HSI's leaving a blank screen (except GS indicator)
to put NavDash there. This is very useful because you don't
have to turn NavDash off to shoot an approach. You can
use the small ADI localizer deviation bar to shoot an
       approach.

VOR2 MODE:

   To toggle on a VOR2 indication ---->  Shift-5

The VOR2 gauge will appear where the standby altimeter is
but can be dragged anywhere on the panel.

INSTALLATION:

1. Unzip all files to a temp folder.
2. Unzip the contents of Gauges.zip to the \Gauges
directory. (add and replace as necessary)
3. Make a directory in \FSFSConv called panel.B767ee6
   (ex. ..\Aircraft\FSFSConv\panel.B767ee6)
4. Unzip the contents of panel.B767ee6.zip into this
      new directory
5. Go to your Aircrafts panel directory for the plane
that you want to assign this panel to
   (ex. ..\Aircraft\...<your planes folder>...\panel)
and edit the panel.cfg file found there to read ONLY:

[fltsim]
alias=FSFSConv\panel.B767ee6

NOTE: Do not edit the panel.cfg file that comes with
this zip!! Also, use Windows Notepad for edit.

6. Start the sim and select your plane...The new panel
   should be there.

FD OPTION (See FDoption.doc for detailed info)

1. Unzip the file FDoption.zip into a temp folder.
2. Unzip the gauge file into the \Gauges directory
     and replace the file.
3. Load the sim.

ALTIMETER OPTION: (International users can now get the
main altimeter to show MB instead of HG)

1. Unzip the gauge in ALToption.zip into the \Gauges
     foler and replace the file.
2. Load the sim.
