SEE 763.TXT FOR A LIST OF WHICH *.AIR FILES TO USE WITH WHICH AIRLINE

In this document I will try to briefly explain some of the basic differences used in the 767-300 flight model(s) and how to recognize the different variations. You will also find a table detailing which airline goes with which flight model.

In the description box of each Project Freeware 767-300 you will at the bottom find a line saying something like: "FDE: 763-EF60". This indicates exactly which flight model is currently installed on that particular 767-300. The first 3 characters ("763") indicate that this is the 767-300 flight model. Each of the following four characters of the code describe a characteristic.

First character: Indicates if it is an ER model or not. "0" = non-ER, "E" = ER model.

Second character: Defines the Maximum TakeOff Weight (MTOW) in lbs. A=345,000; B=351,000; C=380,000; D=387,000; E=400,000; F=407,000; G=412,000.

Third and fourth characters: Indicate the engine. "56" = PW4056; "60" = PW4060; "A2" = CF6-80C2A2; "B2" = CF6-80C2B2; "B4" = CF6-80C2B4; "B6" = CF6-80C2B6; "B7" = CF6=80C2B7; "RH" = RB211-524H.

Example: "FDE: 763-EF60" indicates a 767-300ER, MTOW of 407,000 lbs and Pratt & Whitney PW4060 engines.

Not all possible variants offered by Boeing have been created in this flight model. Only those actually in use by airlines are represented. Other variants available by special request.
