In your deep blue eyes,
I see wisdom beyond your years,
I see a man in control of his own heart.
Your muscled body tells of strength and power.
The firm line of your jaw shows courage and bravery.
And in your heart, dearest one,
I see your zeal for God and the love for His Word,
Your determination to do what is right no matter what.
And that wild hair; as restless as a caged stallion, the color of sweet milk chocolate,
Its wild and untamed locks begging to be caressed.
Your voice is deep, like the rolling thunder;
Words roll smooth off your tongue like water from a spring,
Wrapping themselves like a melodious poem around my heart.
My love, youre charming, witty, and incredibly handsome.
Not one on this earth could surpass you in any department.
Youre absolutely wonderful.
Youre in my thoughts, dearest one,
Every minute of the day.
And when I lay down to sleep at night,
And close my weary eyes,
I once again dream of you,
In a place that knows no boundaries or time.
And there you will be,
In all your glory and splendor,
Clothed in black, gleaming armor,
And a cloak of black ebony
Your eyes standing out as sapphires in a pool of darkness,
Astride your black, noble steed.
Youre my hero, my rescuer, my protector,
My Knight, forever.
Youre the only one for me.
Youre the man I love.
My sophemore year, this was the Louisiana State runner up in the state literature contest.
