Kyra's Poem
Kyra's Poem

So long has it been
Since I last laid eyes on your handsome face.
At night, I dream of your soft, alabaster skin
As if you were here next to me.
I see that glowing smile,
And the stars in those gorgeous eyes
Running my fingers through your curly, brown locks.
Ah, sweet dreams,
Love's sweet surrender
Washing over me like the cold ebb of the tide.
Atleast you're here in my dreams
And forever you will stay,
Like a precious memory
That shall never fade away.

This was written for a former friend to her sweetheart that was about to move across the country. She wanted a special way to let him know that no matter how far he went, she would always feel the same about him.
