11/09/02 - GSNEC AKC Trial - North Branch, NJ
Magic has � breakfast and Rescue. She runs slow and walks through the Weaves.
She misses the down Dogwalk contact and I was right there. Lynn Pettipaw
says the judge called it, but the scribe missed it. Magic gets her 2nd leg.
She might be slow in AKC because its tight. I had to do 4 FCs. I am thrilled
because its her first Q since Blackthorne in early September. She has had a
myriad of problems including a bout of Kennel Cough maybe? Its tough doing only
one run a day - seems like a long drought, but it was only 9 runs (excluding a
few 2nd runs of the day). In JWW, I do
5 obstacles and out. I tell the judge and he says he cant condone it - its
training in the ring, but I should signal him before leaving and he thanks me
for warning him. I also warn the handler after me. She had been caught off
guard on Friday (but I had not planned to leave early).
