4/22 - BCKC AKC Trial - at Willingboro, NJ Open Standard Q3
Magic runs well in standard, and I don't give her a good angle to the
dogwalk, so she has a refusal. Q3 Open Std and OA Title. Magic runs
slow in JWW, but it is very hot. I try to cool her off in the car before
we run. We run at 4PM, but I don't feed her. She rolls in the tunnel,
and then tries to turn around. She passes the entry and I put her in, but
she gets a weave pole refusal. She knocks the bar of the Triple. Perhaps
it is in the corner and I don't I pull her off it. She is 7 seconds over SCT.
I don't lead out today because she seems un-motivated. Both runs, I
bring her out late, don't want her waiting too long before she runs.
Magic finishes the first half of 2001 as the 4th Lab in the country in AKC Open.
Quite an accomplichment, as she only ran 6 times and so poorly that I thought she had
Lyme.
