4/8 - DCKC AKC Trial - at Willingboro, NJ - Open Standard Q1
In AKC Open Standard, we run first, because I have to Time. She
runs just 30 minutes after her last run. She is tired and lies down in
the tunnel (the way she rubs the ground when it smells good). She runs slowly,
but well. I sit her at the table and tell her easy and touch on the Dogwalk.
I don't realize how close the tunnel is to the Panel jump, so she takes a wrong
course (and a refusal) into the wrong end. But it's a Q and my error cost
her 4th place.
This was the start of her Tunnel problems. I think that it was because I
left my Tunnels in the yard and she played in them. I started to turn them down.
The Tunnel problem was triggered by stress.
