The PD at our Classic Rocker came up with this one I think.
If your station is like ours, your midnight hour is usually lite on the spot load. So why not sell a block of it to the local music store? Take the first 6 songs in the hour and play 6 from the same artist or group. Get the music from the music store you sell the feature to and plug them in the beginning and end! Throw in some promos in the daytime and it becomes an easy feature for the late night! Cheep sell and good for a few extra bucks.
On Friday nite take and play an entire album start to finish, (dead air and all). Just remember to promo the hell out of it so dial surfers don't think you lost your mind!
