MyOwnBiz is looking for volunteers to help coordinate and organize the implementation of a national plan established by the Millions More Movement (millionsmoremovement.com) Meetings are held weekly.

Research finds youth entrepreneur training improves grades and attitudes.

We have created a self-study (turnkey) MyOwnBiz marketing kit and a Future CEO's and Youth Entrepreneurs Workshop that incorporate hands-on business activities into school subjects such as English, Math, Social Studies, and Science.

English skills are used by requiring youth to read and write business and marketing plans, goals and objectives.

Math skills are used by requiring youth to calculate sales, profit, inventory, and other business accounts.

Social Studies principles are introduced when teaching kids about the American economy (i.e. the FREE enterprise system, supply and demand of goods and services, etc.).

Science skills are used by encouraging youth to invent their own product or service.

We are preparing young people to become the next generation of business leaders. Our mission is to educate youngsters age eight and up on the principles of starting and managing a small business successfully. We believe young people should have the opportunity to consider entrepreneurship as a career path or as a secondary, money making skill. We create, market, and sell small business kits that teach young people how to start a Youth Operated MyOwnBiz enterprise as well as other youth operated businesses. We also conduct seminars and workshops throughout the country where young people can learn the principles of starting a MyOwnBiz Youth operated business and the principles of managing their hard earned money properly.

The MyOwnBiz kit includes:

Workbook that teaches youth 8 and up how to start a variety of businesses; A certificate to market products or services at a MyOwnBiz exhibit booth; Youth business cards; Grand opening business invitations;
A brief case; Marketing brochures; MyOwnBiz banner; $40.00 in referral certificates; Customer receipt forms
