Lesson #1:
Printable Miniature Chair and Wardrobe
Materials/Tools Needed:
white cardstock paper (available at any office supply store and most department stores)
computer and color printer
scissors
white/school glue
wood veneer in various types of wood (optional) and wood glue
Trash to Treasure Bentwood Chair

Materials/Tools Needed:
plastic film canister top
drill
electrical mains wire
tacky/craft glue
wire cutters
brown enamel and paintbrush
Harry Potter Style Gothic Chair

Materials/Tools Needed:
2 4 1/2 inch lengths of 1/4 inch square section timber
2 5/16 inch lengths of 1/4 inch square section timber
2 2 inch lengths of 1/4 inch square section timber
barbecue skewer cut into 4 1 9/16 inch lengths
chair seat cut from 1/8 inch MDF (template included with lesson)
cardboard
scissors
jigsaw or bandsaw to cut MDF seat with
sharp craft knife
silk fabric to cover seat with
mauve acrylic paint
fast drying Epoxy type glue
two star-shaped beads
two round gold beads
gold embroidery cord trim (not thread)
gluing jig, rubber bands, or Lego's plastic building blocks to hold chair together while drying
Lesson #2:
Easy 1/12th Scale Wooden Pedestal Tables

Materials/Tools Needed:
short lengths of cornice moulding (scraps can be used)
miniature scale turned baluster or banister spindle
wooden badge mounts (look for these sold in packages filled with mixed sizes and shapes, sold in craft sections of department stores and in craft stores)
paint or wood stain
fast setting Epoxy type of glue
small drill
saw
fine sandpaper
Lesson #3:
Marble Chess Table

Materials/Tools Needed:
decorative egg stand
brass bangle bracelet
grid paper, finely squared
polymer clays in black, transparent, and white
Epoxy resin
Grip wax (like Blu-tack but less noticeable and doesn't stain; available from most dolls' house suppliers)
Paper Mache Chair

Materials/Tools Needed:
pliable wire, 1 yard (1 m)
paper mache
primer in gray
black gloss spray paint
acrylic paints in your choice of colors (for final decoration of chair)
thin tip gold marker pen
clear spray lacquer or acrylic seal

1/16 inch (1 mm) scrap wood sheet
soft leather, 12" (305 mm) square
3/8 inch wooden dowel scrap
wood strip, 3/4 inch (6 mm) square
Epoxy resin
coarse sandpaper

thick packing foam
clear shoe polish
tacky glue
French polish
wood stain
