...in the fall of 1983 by an at-home mother tired of being alone at home.  Mary James wanted to meet other at-home mothers, and she wanted to find other at-home children for her children to play with.  When she discovered there were no other organizations that met during the day and allowed her to come with her children, she decided to start a brand new organization just for at-home mothers, and MOMS Club was born.  The first chapter was in Simi Valley, California.  

Word spread about the wonderful support that MOMS Club offers at-home mothers and we became a national organization in 1985.  The MOMS Club now has over 1,500 chapters with more than 75,000 members in seven countries.  There are chapters in military bases all over the world - supporting moms and the families of our troops!

Our Chapter's Story began...

..... in the winter of 2004/2005 when the MOMS Club of Taylor Ranch sistered.  Two chapters now serve the Albuquerque West Side.  We are excited about the new opportunities for growth this allows and welcome all new members.
