The engineer of the Kings' high-octane attack
is a
fresh-faced point guard who has turned
his life around
and is now the toast of the whole world.
Jason Williams, who graduated from
the University of Florida team to emerge as
the seventh pick in the draft,
has the nerves of a Formula 1 driver and
the hair trigger of a SWAT team sharpshooter.
Williams, fairly compared to
the all-time legendary great Pete
Maravich,
never met a pass he wouldn't like to try and
he attempts over seven three-pointers per game.
While Williams'aggressiveness may have
given Rick Adelman a few gray hairs, he
deserves all
the credit for making the Kings
the number 1 offensive team in the league.
