Your temperament will adjust this recipe to suit your families taste
1/4 cup butter or margarine 1 cup vinegar 1 cup water 1/2 cup catsup 1 tb worcestershire sauce 2 tb lemon juice 1 tb dry mustard 1 tb or more if desired - chili powder 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp ground pepper, I prefer white pepper 2 tb sugar 2 bay leaves 11/4 tsp ground oregano 1 large onion minced 2 garlic cloves minced
Combine butter, vinegar water, catsup, worcestershire sauce, lomon juice, dry mustard, chili powder, salt, pepper bay leaves, oregano, onion and garlic bring to a boil
Reduce and simmer till smooth and creamy - be sure to remove bay leaves
too thick, add a little water want it smoother whiz in a blender Makes enough for 6 to 7 pounds of meat about 3 and 1/2 cups I think is a good guess
