1-8 ounce package cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup dairy sour cream 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened 2 tablespoons finely chopped pimiento 1 tablespoon snipped parsley 1 teaspoon grated onion 1/3 cup finely chopped nuts 1/3 cup snipped parsley __________________________________________________ Combine cream cheese, sour cream, and butter or margarine; beat with electric mixer till fluffy. Stir in pimiento, 1 tablespoon parsley, and onion. Chill. Shape into a ball. Coat with nuts and 1/3 cup parsley. Makes about 1-3/4 cups
SWISS CHEESE-HAM SPREAD: Prepare as above, except omit nuts and 1/3 cup parsley. Have 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese at room temperature. Combine Swiss cheese, cheese ball mixture, one 3-ounce can deviled ham, and 1 teaspoon prepared mustard. Beat till almost smooth. Cover; chill. Makes 3 cups
