Potato Rolls (bread machine)

now_at_home

Hi~
I just joined after reading ALL of the posts!! I was so impressed when I saw that this is a fairly new club and it has 700+ messages. Everyone seems so nice and helpful!! I don't have any recipes for appetizers or dips but I will share with you a recipe I have been making since I found it!

3/4 cup warm water
1 tb olive oil
3/4 cup romm temp. mashed potatoes
1/2 tsp salt
1 tb sugar
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp yeast

Put all ingredients in machine according to manufactuer's instructions. Set for 2 lb. dough setting.
When dough is done take out and seperate into portions. I weigh them out to 4 ounces each, this makes nice size hamburger rolls. I have also made a batch of 3 ounce rolls for hubby to take sandwiches to work with and these are a nice size also.
Put on greased (I use cooking spray) baking sheet, cover and let rise until nearly doubled.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees (I just tried Alt+0176 for degree sign and got an error message...eeeekk!!). Cook in preheated oven until they start to brown (I never keep track...sorry for no exact time, should be about 10-15 minutes).
