Mexican Hamburger Dip

1 - 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 lbs. Velveeta cheese
1 large jar salsa or picante sauce (you adjust the temperature)
tortilla chips (or scoopers or Ritz crackers)

Brown ground beef. Put in crock pot. Cut Velveeta into chunks. Put cheese and salsa in crock pot, stir well and cook until cheese is melted. Serve with chips or crackers.

Tip: Mix together in large glass or plastic bowl and cook in microwave until cheese is melted. Of course it cools off this way, but you have instant dip! This is very addicting. It's also the first bowl empty at a party!
