1 pound chicken livers 3 tablespoon render chicken fat or broth 1 medium onion chopped 2 hard cooked eggs salt and pepper to taste
Saute livers in broth or fat very slow, so that they will cook through but not brown. Remove livers and sautee onions in same broth until soft and golden, again do not brown.
Cut up livers and eggs remove onions from broth and mix all together.
Put through a blender or grinder add salt and pepper and broth you cooked in. Pack mixture in deep round bowl and chill 30 minutes or more.
If use a fancy type bowl can turn over and turn out and surround by crackers.
