2 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp white wine vinegar 1 tbsp cooking oil 1/4 to 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes 1/4 to 1/2 tsp ground ginger 1/8 to 1/4 tsp garlic powder 24 small mushrooms quartered 2 tsp sliced green onion
In a medium sauce pan, combine sugar, soy sauce, oil, red pepper flakes, ginger, and garlic powder. Add mushrooms and green onion. COok and stir over meduim heat until heated through. Makes four appetizer servings. Also great as a side dish over hot rice.
