1 POUND SWEET ITALIAN SAUSAGES 1 POUND PASTA, ZITI, RAGATONI OR SHELLS 1 CONTAINER 15 OUNCES RICOTTA CHEESE YOUR FAVORITE MEAT SAUCE 1 POUND MOZZERELLA SLICED THIN GRATED PARMESAN OR ROMANO CHEESE
PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES. BREAK UP SAUSAGE MEAT AND BROWN IT IN A SMALL PAN. DRAIN OFF FAT AND SET ASIDE. COOK PASTA AS DIRECTED ON PACKAGE. DRAIN. ADD COOKED SAUSAGE, RICOTTA, AND MEAT SAUCE TO PASTA AND MIX VERY WELL. COVER THE BOTTOM OF A DEEP 3 INCH QUART CASSEROLE WITH A THIN LAYER OF OF SAUCE. THEN SPRINKLE A LAYER OF PARMESIAN CHEESE ON TOP. COVER WITH A LAYER OF THE PASTA MIXTURE, TOP WITH A LAYER OF SLICED MOZZERELLA, AND A SPRINKLING OF THE PARMESIAN CHEESE. REPEAT, ALTERNATING LAYERS UNTIL ALL INGREDIENTS ARE USED. BAKE, UNCOVERD, ABOUT 30 MINUTES UNTIL CHEESE IS BUBBLY. SERVE. ENJOY!
