Pork Chop & Green Bean Casserole

Kmsmokey

Not really Italian but this is a home recipe and happen to make it today so thought I would share it. A good one pot dish and easy to put together

1 32 oz. Can Hanover Green Bean & Potatoes (ham flavored)

1 8 oz Can Mushroom Bits and Pieces - drained well

1 8 oz Can Sliced Carrots - drained well

1 8 oz Can Pork Gravy or Mushroom Gravy

1 Med Onion chopped up medium size

6 Nice Size pork chops - any kind

In a baking dish pour in green bean and potatoes with the juice - note if you cannot find the large can you can substitute 2 reg cans of green bean and 1 or 2 can of potatoes - Do not drain them.

Add the carrots - but drained
and sprinkle around

Layer the pork chops on top of this mixture

Cover chops and dish with the chopped onions

Cover entire dish with mushrooms (drained)

Spoon the gravy over the chops and try to cover as much of each chop as you can\

Salt - Pepper - Garlic Powder

I just sprinkle lightly over top of all

Bake at 375 degrees until chops are done, bake additinal 5 minutes uncovered to brown the chops and top. Serve entire meal from the roasting pan.

Takes about 5 minutes to put together

30 to 45 minutes to cook - depends on size of chops

Quick and easy for working moms

And a well balanced meal

Goes very well with corn bread

Enjoy

Kathy

Variations: May substitute another vegetable if you prefer.

May use cream of mushroom soup instead of gravy if desired.

Or mushrooms may be deleted altogether if your family does not like mushroom
