I made this recipe when dieting once and it turned out to be a family favorite 1 lb of fresh scallops, drained well 1/2 stick butter or margarine 1/4 cup finely diced onion a dash or two of fresh basil Sautee scallops with onion and basil in butter. After about 10 minutes add one jar of any kind of Salsa your family likes, or homemade salsa if you prefer. Serve over any type of pasta or rice, very tasty and very low on fat and quick and easy. Once in a while I will dice up some fresh garlic and a few fresh mushrooms and add when cooking also. Kathy
