This is a simple casserole, I have been making for many years, in fact I just had it tonight. 1 lb. scallops (I like bay, if you use sea you may want to cut them in 1/2) 1 C bread crumbs 1 1/2 tsp celery seed ground pepper to taste 3/4 C half and half, or milk 1/2 C butter, melted paprika ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rinse scallops and place in a casserole dish. Pour 1/2 of the half and half or milk on top. In small sauce pan melt butter. Remove from stove top and add bread crumbs, celery seed and black pepper. Mix together and place on top. Add the remaining milk and top with paprika. Bake for 25-30 min. at 375 degrees. **I made this tonight for company and used four single serving ceramic dishes to bake them in, it worked out really nice. Maureen :)
