This isn't for ice cream, but for sherbet. Everyone here really loves it and it is so easy. Need a 1 quart container. 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 - 8 oz can crushed pineapple orange soda. Mix milk and pineapple. Add enough orange soda to fill container. Mix well and freeze. I usually double the recipe. And it is good to take it out about 15 minutes before serving, softens up a little and scoops easier. I have also traded the pineapple for strawberries and the orange sode for fruity soda. But my family likes the original the best. katherine
