A Gift and a Message

Allen Vigotsky sent us some maps for our collection and an interesting message:

“Had a nice reminder of MALFA on Tuesday night that old time members might appreciate. At a group dinner with my Atlanta archaeology group the name “Lou Brennan” came up. Sitting next to me was Dennis Blanton, a very good archaeologist who helps direct our organization and is Curator of Native American History at the Fernbank Museum,  He perked up when he heard the name of:Lou Brennan: and said ‘Wow. When I was a kid, I picked up a book by Brennan.  It triggered something inside of me and I read it and then other books written by the author.’”
