Angelic Desperation
Each day you profess your love for me,
Through your actions, sins, and humanity.
You believe as I did in free wills delight
Yet still find love in the dictators light.
All gifts are provided the, lest you take of nights blossoms,
The seven deadly.
Your nature is to tantalize me so,
Dangling your sweet soul above the inferno.
Would you be mine if I could have you?
Would you be mine even though Ive led you so far astray?
I cast the clouds so that you could not see.
Would you leave the light, just to be with me?
Forever frozen in the ice
Severed from Heavenly ties
I need you hear beside me
Because I am so lonely
Ive nothing to offer but my heart and soul
The stench of this land from the decayed and old
But well have each other if you so wish
Love greater than he (Yahweh) would have you relish
Please tell me that you love me, that youd accept this fate
That together wed taunt those beyond pearly gates.
English translation:
- Through me the way into the suffering city, through me the way to the eternal pain, through me the way that runs among the lost.
- Justice urged on my high artificer; my maker was divine authority, the highest wisdom, and the primal love.
- Before me nothing but eternal things were made, and I endure eternally. Abandon every hope, you who enter here.
