This poem was written about a boy that I had a huge crush on a while back. I barely knew him, and its definitely long past, but the poem is good, quality writing, I think, and so I put it here.
When I think of him
My heart swells
With love, with fear
With adoration, with tears
With hope, with pain
When I think of him
My chest gets heavy
It�s hard to breathe
I'm taken aback
By all that he is.
When I think of him
I wish I could be
In his arms, to feel his warmth
In his heart, to feel what he feels
In his mind, to know what he knows
When I think of him
I count myself so plain
I'm not worthy
Of his friendship
Of his love
Of his attention
When I think of him
My senses go haywire
My emotions get jumbled
My mind gets confused
My heart leaps with joy
Even though it�s in pain
When I think of him
Of when I see him
My eyes light up
My heart jumps
My knees get weak
When I think of him
I know only one thing
Time can bring me peace
And him.
And so I wait
For the answer
Either way
I'll love him
When I think of him.
