Rules & Guidelines

1. Be kind, and respectful to others. This does not mean you have to be an angel, but don’t be an asshole to others unless they well deserve it. Also do not provoke fights with other LS either. If they start a fight first, then use your judgment as best you can before taking any actions that might have an impact on you and your fellow LS members.

2. Drama will not be tolerated. If you have an issue with a fellow LS member do not bring it into LS chat before consulting a leading member about the issue. All issues between players should be resolved between players and not in LS chat.

3. LS chat is open to any and all discussion on anything besides what is listed in the rules. Please limit the cursing and the CAPITAL letter usage as much as possible. I’m not saying you can’t cuss at all or you will be booted, but try to limit it when you can. Also, spamming will not be tolerated unless it is being used in a productive way such as in a HNM fight spamming something important 2-3 times to make sure everyone understands.

4. (This rule goes alot with the points system) Need before greed! NBG. This is a rule that will be enforced highly and if you don’t like it then this is not the LS for you. To explain need before greed better here is an example. Jack and Joe have both been playing and doing stuff with LS for same amount of time. Jack has 2 lv 75 jobs. A RNG and a MNK. Joe has 1 lv 75 job. A BRD. We take down Kirin, and Kirin’s osode drops. Both people can use it, and both people probably deserve to have one. Joe understands though that Jack really needs it more, as his jobs can get more use out of it, and he knows that he will get one eventually, but tonight is not his night. He doesn’t argue or complain. He Congratulates Jack on his new item. This does not mean though that say Jill joins the LS and is say RNG and NIN, and Joe(BRD) has been with LS for several months, Jill will be ahead of Joe to get an osode. Points will factor in along with NBG. You earn what you get. Example: Jill has been in LS for 2 months and has been at every event and helped with many things for LS. Joe has been with LS for 4 months, however, he doesn't attend many events and get many "Time Points" (please read the points system for explaination). Now, that Kirin's Osode drops and joe has been in the LS longer, but he has not put as much time into the LS as Jill. Therefor Jill has more right to it.

5. Any and all HNM drops will not be sold for gil. At a later date, some specific items may be flagged to camp and sell to fund the LS in its events, but for now only synth materials that drop from gods will be used to sell for LS fund. All HNM drops will be divided out according to NBG, also factoring in who was there when the item dropped. If an item drops that no one who camped it needs, then the item will be given to someone who a leader has deemed eligible to receive. An example of this is killing Serket. If a V. Claw drops and someone needs a scorpion harness then they can lot on it using Points and NBG. If a Serket ring drops though and no one that was there needs it. A leader will pick someone, or a couple people from LS to /random and be able to get it. Special curcumstances may apply when people chose to go camp a HNM if everyone states ahead of time that its for sell and split purposes.

6. Dynamis rule- LS fund will pay for for each run. In this case all single currency and standard items are fee lot. AFv2 will be obtained using a combination of Dynamis and Time Points. (Points Explanation) All 100 bills will go to LS bank to be sold to sponsor future runs. If a LS member wishes to sponsor(pay for) a Dynamis run, he may do so. This is only for people to obtain currency for relic upgrades to use, and not to profit off of. All the standard rules will still apply to lotting anything else.

7. Be constructive and productive, not destructive. Talking down to someone for something they did or are doing wrong does not help anything. If you see a problem, give your opinions and ideas on a solution.

8. We are all human. Rules get broken and accidents happen. If you mess up you will be warned and life will move on. Repeated ignorance of the rules and guidelines will not be tolerated though. If you break the LS chat rule by, say yelling and cussing and stuff, you will be asked to stop. If you don’t stop your pearl will be broken and you will have a cooling off period. At that time it will be decided if you would like to have another pearl.

9. Friendships are built on trust and respect. Respect others and help others to accomplish their goals and they will help you in return. Giving selflessly is an even greater way to earn respect. Help even if you don’t feel it will benefit you or you don’t want any benefit in return, because in the long run it will benefit you somehow.

These are the general rules and guidelines to expect from this LS. Nothing is set in stone though. Meaning if at any time anyone has an issue with a rule it will be open for discussion. Now, as far as job level and recruitment, this is a endgame LS. Level 70-75 are prefured, however special curcumstances may apply . If you are lower and still wish to join, then E-mail me still. I'm not totally against someone lower level joining, however they will need a good refural and a LS member to sponcer them.
