Brrrrrrrrrr!

With crimbo just round the corner *NSYNC's Justin gets all wrapped up with er, Thanksgiving!

It's crispy cold outside as *NSYNC pile into the roasting hot L&K studio. The guys peel off their layers of clothes and make themselves comfortable in front of the camera. Justin wanders over clutching two steaming cups of tea and plonks himself down on the plump sofa. He hands over a cuppa and explains how the guys are gonna be at home in the States for Thanksgiving. Eh? "It's on the fourth Thursday in November commemorating the peace pacts between the Pilgrims and the Indians," he explains, showing what a v. good history teacher he's make! "What they ate then, makes up the traditional Thanksgiving dinner. You have turkey with stuffing and mashed potato." Justin leans back and sighs, looking like he can really smell a scrummy plate of turkey and mash.
"My grandmother cooks a fantastic Thanksgiving meal," he coos, "but I missed it last year. Our parents brought loads of food she'd cooked to the house I share with JC and Chris in Orlando, but we just had to leave early! It was awful! My grandmother is like a one-woman buffet so I really enjoy being home."
Justin stops to slurp his tea - while being asked about pulling crackers and wearing silly hats. "You wore hats? That's cool - I've never done that! When I was younger we'd be so anxious to open our presents that we used to eat our food in like 5 minutes so we could run in and bug the grown-ups: 'Is everybody done yet?'"
Justin goes on to describe his top tips for making the best snowball. Packing them tight is the clue! "I was king of the snowballs at home in Memphis - no one could touch me!"
So, will *NSYNC be going carol singing this year? "We haven't done that ever before, but maybe this year... My favorite Christmas song is 'Holy night', I'll sing you a bit. (Cue angelic musical interlude)
So what kind of Christmas presents would you buy for guys like Boyzone? "Something Irish I reckon - a shamrock. For the Spice Girls I would buy some paprika so they can spice up their lives! Oh and some more clothes! The Backstreet Boys could do with some traveling bags 'cuz they travel like crazy like us."
What kind of knees up will you be having? "I'll have a party with a lot of eggnog, (eeeugh, raw egg vommy drink) but you can't really taste the egg if you have lots of sugar in it!"
As the guys get ready to leave, Justin puts on what he calls his fat clothes (which consists of a couple of chunky sweaters and a puffa jacket). "I prefer winter clothes and layering up," he grins, bracing himself for the bitter cold outside.
Happy Thanksgiving, mateys - have a turkey leg on us!
