Last week *NSYNC was in Holland for a short visit. And because we wanted to talk with them (you'll never know when they will be back next time), we followed them to Paris. There we met *NSYNC totally exhausted in their hotelroom. To keep it simple for them we just dropped some words and they had to respond to them.

Bye Bye Bye video
Chris: Holland is the bomb! Everything is legal in Holland! And everyone is so relaxed, I love it! Cute girls too!!
JC: so, you say it! If you saw the girls in the audience, wow! What I do hate is that we are always there during the day. I would love to go out there. I think Holland will be awesome to go out! [Note from Linda: As if! This doesn't sound like JC at all!]
Justin: What I have noticed is that our fans have been so loyal. We haven't been in Holland for a while, but when we did that little show in Holland, there were so many people there and everyone went crazy! [Note from Linda: It was a free outdoor concert. There were many girls who came because it was for free. They didn't even know the names of the guys! I hate to say it but the guys are not famous here] That I really hadn't expected. It was really cool to see!
Chris: You know what I noticed? That there are so many transvestites in Amsterdam [Note from Linda: they were in Rotterdam! And there aren't many transvestites in Amsterdam either!*LOL*] Sometimes I was thinking "Shit is that a man or a woman?" But maybe that's just me.
Justin: Absolutely the most important year for us as a group. We had a lot of juridical problems and had to fight very hard for staying *NSYNC. Thank God it worked out alright, and now we're stronger than ever!
Chris: Now we're also closer than ever. We've always been good friends, but we've never been as close as we are now. We can concur the whole world now!
Justin: This is gonna be our year! We have so many plans and also a lot of energy to do all these things.
JC: First there is a new single, for which we are doing a lot of promotion in Europe now. Then we will be performing at the Oscars. That is very important for us cuz that show will be showed all over the world. Then the 20th of March our new album will come out and then we are preparing for a worldtour which will start in a few months.
Justin: In the summer we want to start filming our first movie. It's not going to be a music-movie and it won't be about *NSYNC. But we do have all have a part in it. It's gonna be a comedy like American Pie, but we're still working on the script. The reading and re-writing is what we do on the plane etc. Whenever we have some time off, we write. 2000 is gonna be an extremely busy year for us.
JC: What is that?
Justin: We don't have a personal life, but we're used to it now. We don't know different.
JC: I don't really mind cuz we're still young. In 10 years we can still enjoy a personal life, but not now. We want the world to know our music, so we have to put time into that.
Chris: What does make me angry is that a few weeks ago I bought a new house, but I haven't even been inside long! I still have to buy furniture and paint everything, but I just don't have the time to do that. I'm glad that there is a bed in it!
Justin: Our new album!! We can't wait till it finally comes out! Then we can finally show the world that we aren't a sweet boyband anymore, but that we make Dirty Pop, Yeah!
JC: It is absolutely different than our first album. No strings attached is rougher and more aggressive than the first one. There are only two ballads on it. The rest are all up-tempo's. We have finished recording two weeks ago and as we speak some technicians are working on mastering it. Really, believe me, it all sounds really great. We're really proud of it.
Chris: If you have listened to the record you can tell that we are no longer a Teeny-band. And as the title says, we are in control now. Nobody is saying what we should or should not do. *NSYNC is in control.
Justin: 'The princess of pop' One of our very close friends. We're really proud of Britney, cuz not so long ago she was opening up for us. And if you see what she has done since that time! [Note from Linda: LOL, that is all I have to say!]
Chris: We wanna tour with Britney and we are working on it right now. It's not all settled yet but the chances of Britney and *NSYNC going on the road together are really big. If we're coming to Holland as well? Hopefully! If everything goes as we planned, it'll be in the fall but don't quote me on that. Everything can be changed at the last minute, we know all about that!
JC: Everyone thinks it is a really expensive video but that is kinda not true. (it was 1 million dollars which is hard cash if you ask me) You can make a cheap video look really expensive, if you're creative enough.
Justin: We came up with the idea of the video ourselves, like we do with every video. In the beginning you can see the word 'Libertad', with that we wanna show a clear signal. I'm chased by a bunch of dangerous Dobermans, but actually they were really sweet. Just before the shot I just gave them a lot of food, to make sure they weren't hungry and so wouldn't take a bite out of me! OK, those were trained dogs but you never know...!
During the interview Joey was asleep on the floor and Lance was staring out the window real sleepy. The guys are tired already and they still have the whole year ahead of them... [Note from me, seems like Lance & Joey thought the interview was boring! LOL]
