There were some rumors that you had split up...
Justin: That was never an issue. Those rumors probably came up when we had that legal fight with our previous record-company last October. That Record-company sued us for $150 dollars and also wanted to take the groups name *NSYNC away from us.
Lance: *NSYNC is as a marketsign; whoever owns the right to the name, automatically will get the money when the name is used for commercial business -for example when it appears on a T-shirt. We tried to get around the problem by writing it in a different way. If we had lost the rights to our name, then we would have had to start all over with a new name. That's how the split-up rumors appeared. The legal battle is *thank God* over, we have an agreement with our old record-label and we are still *NSYNC.

You all changed you look: Joey has colored his hair and Chris got rid of the braids...
Chris: I really like the braids when I just got them, but after 4 years (Note from me: errr 2 years, don't lie Chris!) I wanted to change my style. 3 months ago I got rid of them because they were starting to get on my nerves. In the future I wanna wear my hair short.
Joey: I had my hair red for quite some time, but after a while I found it just a little bit too much. Now I am waiting till the color has grown out.

Is your new album ready yet?
Joey: YES! It is called No Strings Attached and was recorded between shows in Orlando, Los Angeles and New York last year. The title kinda says something about the way people treated us (as marionettes) in the past, when smart people in the background, musically and with business-things, had the strings in their hands. We showed that it wasn't right that way. We are a group who will carry full responsibility for their own decisions. NSA will come out in April.

What is the name of the new single?
JC: "Bye Bye Bye", it will come out on February 14th. It is a rather up-tempo song, musically a mixture of electronic sound, Hip Hop and pop with a lotta groove. In words it is about a girl who cheats on her boyfriend all the time, until he is fed up with it.

Are you all "taken" at the moment?
JC: No. We all meet girls, but nobody is really seeing someone right now. Our schedule is way too hectic for that: Live shows, recordings, the thing with our record-label - there simply isn't ant time left to have a serious relationship. I am seeing someone at the moment, but it isn't really serious. The only woman I call a lot is my mom.

Do you keep the names of the girls you are seeing hidden on purpose?
Lance: Yea, but not because we wanna let the fans think we are still solo. We don't give out their names because now they still have some privacy and rest. In the past we have given them out once and after we did, their phones never stopped ringing. And they were called names by female so-called fans.

Justin, there is a rumor about you and Britney Spears going on for a long time now...
Justin: I don't wanna say much about it to be honest because every time I say something about it, my words get twisted around. On the internet there even was a website on which was written that Britney's knee surgery never happend but that she was pregnant with my child and she was in hospital to get an abortion. That is crazy!
