Differences between Gods and Goddesses

Zeus

Zeus, in Greek Mythology, was king of the gods. When he was a baby, his mother hid him in secret because his father was
told that one of his children would overpower him. To prevent this every time the mother had a child, the father would devour
it. When the mother gave birth to Zeus, she tricked the father into swallowing a stone. Later, Zeus gave his father a drink that
made him vomit up his children. Zeus married Hera his sister, but had affairs with other women. He had many children and his
weapon was the thunderbolt.

Jupiter

Jupiter was the Roman sky god and equal to Zeus. He was considered an ally to the Romans in wartime. Circus games were
made in honor of him. He was also known as the god of oaths, treaties, and contracts. The full moon was sacred to him. The
Ides of each month were also dedicated to him because of a trinity with Juno and Minera. He only used his lightning bolts
during the day. When Jupiter wielded his lightning bolts, business was suspended in Rome.
