| Last Exit, a band from Conneaut, Ohio, unofficially began in late summer 2003 at a fry party at Michael "Bob" Evans' house. Bob picked up his guitar, turned on "Runnin' With The Devil" and started playing along. He then taught Holly Benson how to play the bass part. Maggie Fields played a basic beat on the drums and they all played along. Thus, Last Exit was born without the three even knowing it. Around the beginning of 2004, Bob and Holly came up to Maggie during lunch at school. They told her to come meet someone. She was then introduced to Chris who was the singer in their band and they made Maggie the drummer. The band practiced for about two months and then got a gig at the local coffee shop. After they tackled their first performance, they did around 3 more. Last Exit started to have problems within their band though. Soon after, Chris Penton left the band. After Chris left, they brought David Ericksen, Carrie Ellis, and Bobby Belcher into the band. They did their first performance with their new singers at the coffee shop. A few weeks later they brought James Fultz in and performed again. The band is planning more performances for the near future and is also planning for an EP cd release in the late summer 2004. Updates will come as the band progresses. |
