As long as I known Lance he was always into computers. His first experience to the online scene was BBS's. This is a very limited forum compared to something like AOL. He wold love to sit and play games and talk to other people. As the memberships for BBS's were quite small, everyone knew everyone that was on there. They would also plan parties at Skate World and such places just for all the members to meet. Later in Lance's life he got onto the the more major ISP's like AOL and enjoyed meeting girls, talking to friends and playing games. He liked this one chat environment really well at xoom.com.
As well as all of his online things he enjoyed, he also used to like to play CD Rom games. One of his favorites was Diablo. And everytime he went to the mall he would spend alot of time in the computer store looking at new games, or things to get to make his computer run faster, accessories like web-cams. He really loved it all.
I do know for sure that Lance wanted very much to be in computers and dod it for a living. It used to agravate him that even though he had the knowledge to probably work any computer job and do it well, but he lacked the degree in computer science and no one would give him a chance. |
